Why OpenTubeX

Five reasons to switch

Keep your viewing private and set up the player to suit you.

OpenTubeX encrypts selected library data before syncing it. Only you hold the key. The sync server is open source and self-hostable.

OpenTubeX does not profile you. No analytics, no fingerprinting, no silent telemetry.

Tabs, SponsorBlock, Auto PiP, transcripts, downloads, Ambient Mode, and more.

Themes, shortcuts, per-channel playback settings, layout tweaks, and deep settings let you shape the client around how you actually watch.

Inspect the code, fork it, and verify the claims for yourself.
